Angelo J. Santinelli

Mr. Santinelli is an experienced leader and innovator in creating business strategy, marketing and delivering results. His more than 20 years of business experience covers a broad range of disciplines and responsibilities: including business development, strategic planning, M&A, IPO, private equity financing, customer service, all aspects of marketing and international operations. Mr. Santinelli has served on numerous boards of directors participating in both audit and compensation committees. He has served as an executive and officer of a public company.

Mr. Santinelli is the founder of Dakin Management, a strategy consultancy serving small to medium size companies. He is an Adjunct Professor of Entrepreneurship at Babson College, where he also helps manage the Babson and Olin School Hatchery Programs. Most recently, Mr. Santinelli was a general partner at North Bridge Venture Partners, a venture capital firm located in Waltham, Massachusetts. North Bridge is a recognized leader in seed and early-stage high-tech investing.

Prior to joining North Bridge, Mr. Santinelli was a senior executive and officer of the Shiva Corporation, a pioneering high-tech venture and one of the top IPO's of the year in 1994. It was there that he earned a reputation for developing and working with teams to drive corporate value. During his four years at Shiva, the company grew from less than $20 million in revenue to $200 million and a market capitalization of more than $2 billion. Conducting business in more than 50 countries, nearly 50 percent of Shiva's revenue came from outside of the U.S.

During his tenure at Shiva, Mr. Santinelli was involved in bringing more than one dozen new hardware, software and service products to market. He oversaw several products from the concept stage through the launch stage and developed many of the processes used for ushering products through the development phases. Shiva products won more than 47 awards for excellence worldwide.
