Elaine Chen served as the vice president of engineering at SensAble Technologies Inc., a haptics and
3-D modeling company, where she was responsible for the research, development, product release and maintenance of several hardware and software products.

Prior to SensAble, she was a senior engineer with Design Continuum, Inc., a product design consulting company, where she concentrated in customer research, product strategy and advanced development for consumer, medical and robotic products. Elaine was also a mechanical and systems engineer with Exos, designing human interface devices and managing the firmware and software groups. She holds a B.S. and M.S. in mechanical engineering from MIT.
